Ice Dyes

A process in which dye is sprinkled on a hand tied shirt, with a layer of ice on top. As the ice melts, the dye bleeds onto the fabric. Since dyes are composed of multiple pigments, the melting process splits these beautiful hues, producing a uniquely surprising watercolor pattern.
